Dr. Abraham Oduro

Dr Abraham Rexford Oduro is the Director of the Navrongo Health Research Centre and a Specialist Public Health Physician of the Ghana Health Service. Abraham initially trained as a medical doctor at the Kwame Nkrumah University Science and Technology and holds a Masters and a PhD degree in Epidemiology from the Universities of the Witwatersrand and London respectively. Dr. Oduro is an elected Fellow of public health from the college of physicians and surgeons, Ghana. At the Navrongo research centre he has led several large scale clinical and field intervention studies and has published over 50 articles in peer reviewed journals www.navrongo-hrc.org Abraham’s main current research activities relate to health measurements in disease control, product development research, health systems strengthening, maternal and child health, and environmental related issues.
