He primarily teaches database technologies at the institute. His work area mostly revolves around database technologies and has designed many complex database solutions for diversified clientele. His area of expertise includes databases like Oracle, MySQL and DB2. He also has experience in the area of IT Infrastructure Management and Software Application Development. He played a pivotal role for the vast and up-to-date IT infrastructure setup at International Institute of Information Technology, Pune, India and at Techno Campus, Dubai. He has developed a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – Research and Information Management System software application for KEM Hospital, Pune, India.  He has been associated with the Vadu DSS since the year 2004 providing IT consultancy and has been involved in the development of Vadu website, Vadu Database Application Software and the INDEPTH Data sharing project of multiple DSS sites with his students
