 Kwabena is the Information Systems Manager in the INDEPTH Secretariat. He Joined INDEPTH in September 2002 as the ICT Manager. He has both internal and external responsibilities. Externally he liaises with INDEPTH Member sites on issues of providing information, requesting for information, IT related technical assistance, web site support to sites, and other related activities. Internally, Kwabena is responsible for the Secretariats IT requirements; including; Database development, Information Management, Internet and LAN connectivity, Hardware and Software management and management of INDEPTH's Servers.
Kwabena is also the Coordinator for the INDEPTH/WITS Scientific Development and Leadership programme (MSc. in Population-based field epidemiology), a schedule he has handled from the inception of the programme.
Prior to joining INDEPTH, Kwabena worked with Ghana HealthCare Company (Health Insurance), EMPRETEC Ghana, Ghana foundation, Norwegian Research Centre in Organization & Management (LOS Senteret), Consultant to Navrongo Health Research Centre, Consultant to Kintampo Health Research Centre, Consultant on various UNDP-funded projects and Consultant to the National Health Insurance Authority. He is a member of the Ghana Association of Consultants.
