Linda Asamany Kporku

Mrs. Linda Asamany Kporku is the Malaria Control Focal Person for the Ningo Prampram District. She graduated with a Diploma in Health Information Management from College of Health, Kintampo Ghana. She is a member of the District Health Management team and the District Quality Improvement Team. She is self-motivated with strong problem solving and analytic skills. Her duties include monitoring and reporting on malaria control activities as well as supervising and appraisal of other Health Information and Data officers in the Ningo Prampram District. She is also responsible for coordinating the District Health Information Management System at district level. Her background in Health information management enables her to easily translate data into information to facilitate problem solving. 

As the focal person for Malaria Control, Linda played a critical role in distributing 60120 long lasting insecticide treated nets to 116530 persons in 66237 households in 2016. Linda has participated in and made presentations at various local and regional conferences and meetings. She believes that appropriately packaging and sharing health information at the community level will lead to sustained changes and better health outcomes for the larger community. Linda intends to advance her career in public health specifically in the areas of Health Information management and Health Promotion. Linda is a good team player and brings her skills in data analysis and interpretation to the table.
