IDMP Workshop 7 in progress in Dubai
The INDEPTH Data Management Programme (IDMP) Training Workshop 7 kicked off on 7 May 2017 in Dubai. The overall aim of the workshop is to prepare iSHARE2 member sites to use Centre-in-a-Box (CiB) research data management appliance to extract, quality assure, document, share and analyse the INDEPTH Core Micro Dataset.
This training programme provides detailed knowledge for maintaining and working with the different components of Centre-in-a-Box (CiB) which are useful for participants to manage the entire life-cycle of research data management at their respective sites. During the training programme, all site representatives are engaged in hands-on practice and customised configuration of CiB components and carry back the server to their respective site for implementation.
Third batch of data managers at the workshop. They are from Kombewa HDSS (Kenya); Arba Minch and Butajira HDSSs (Ethiopia), Rakai HDSS (Uganda); Niakhar and Mlomp HDSSs (Senegal) and Nanoro HDSS (Burkina Faso).
