Access to health services is a critical barrier to effective coverage.  In many instances this is determined by land cover.  These days, high resolution remote sensing imagery is available free or at low cost for the whole planet.  For sites with GIS capability, it is easy to incorporate this low cost data layer into the DSS database and work with it to understand health contexts better.
