Dr. Baschieri is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Manager of the ENAP Metrics Team at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She is an economic demographer, international development specialist and statistician with extensive experience in data collection and analysis of complex datasets. Prior to this appointment she was a Research and Evaluation Specialist at UNICEF Ethiopia and a Health and Population advisor for the Department of International Development where she provided technical and programmatic advice to population and reproductive health policies and programmes. Prior to these appointments, she was a Lecturer at the Centre for Population Studies, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She holds a PhD in Demography from the University of Southampton and an MSc in Economics from the University of Pisa, Italy.
